Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kanso RSS app for iOS, developed by Studio Taupe (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By using Kanso RSS, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the app

Kanso RSS is an RSS/Atom reader app that lets you add feeds, read articles, mark items read/saved, and optionally sync data across devices when you sign in. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Kanso RSS for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store terms.

4. User content and third-party websites

Kanso RSS fetches content from third-party websites and feeds that you choose to add. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or policies. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and use those feeds/websites.

Handwritten notes you create are stored locally on your device and may be synced if you use cloud sync (depending on feature availability). You remain responsible for what you write or store in the app.

5. Accounts and security

If you create an account or sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase Kanso Plus, billing and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. Subscription terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple’s App Store policies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Taupe and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
